LAST POST....ITS DONEEE wooooo!!!!

So...finally everything has gone to plan...has gone soo smoothly its just crazy
spent today finishing the last touches to spiffy my raunchy lil number off.

Had an insane day getting all the tek paks and sketches done but everythings looking good and crusing along nicely.

Got my photo shoot done which went very succesfully, and has put me at major ease having everything done organized and falling into place.

Im surprised at how well this went and how i really didnt have any problems or ones that were small enough to fix right away. Its made things soo much easier and less stressful.

so of course a sneaky lil peak is in order....

well i hope you love this as much as i do....
swim suits are by far the best thing ive made yet
they are jsut amazing little pieces to work with and design...
well bed definately calls and i think i deserve it after
such a full on a couple of days...i can now sleep easy knowing
im done and ever soo happy with the outcome
on to the next design extravaganza.....

So now the pattern and the toile are working out just fine, im out to collect my fabrics.

We have the main fabric which is a black two stretch woollen fabric obviously.

The other fabrics i have choosen are a black sports mesh and a lacey knit with a spider web design.

The cutting out starts....and im getting soo excited, all i neeed to buy now is the sequins for my shoulder, give it a little bling.

i think i really love making swim suits i could do this forever... i have soo many more ideas i

could make a hge range just based on this same fabrics and type of design.

On To The Making....

sooo hear i am a couple of days in finally choosen my design...

on to the toile which is pretty much make or break for meee

but is the most exciting part of this i cant wait to get this started

get it moving along.....

so the pattern making is seeming to work out quite well

and everything is falling into place

ive toiled it up and the toile is looking really good

fits quite well may need gap darts taken out

and some of the bands neeed extensions so that its not completely

showing off everything.

but its scaryly working out perfectly which again leads me to wonder how long this can

last something will have to go wrong....this cant be right.

it seems tooo easy...no stuff ups....im more relaxed than any other design brief ive done.

makes me even more nervous about the final piece

The fun beginnss!!!

Im loving the bondage effect and the use of hundreds of different types of fabric weather it being sheer or block.

Our muse being Annette Kellerman, was an adventurous woman who worked outside the lines, she inspired me to design something out of my comfort zone, something that lets you be seen and possibly be controversial.

Sooo after much stress ive finally narrowed my designs down to one...


i want to incorporate so many different things..i just dont wanna leave anything out.


i really hope this all works out. My biggest fear is hating the outcome, im just nervous that everything i see in my head is not being reflected in my work.

My day has started with a rather large chai latte, and a 7 am wake up...eugh must i take my sister to school first...i needed as much sleep as i could get before drama sets in.


On to my first attempt at making up the pattern,and its been alot easier than i thought
but really i shouldnt speak to soon
tomorrow im on to the toile and i can only pray it works, the most minimal problems in the pattern would be the happiest thing to happen to me all week.
